We had the privilege of attending the UNESCO World Conference on Culture and Arts Education in the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi/ UAE. The conference brought together partners and organizations from all over the world in the field of culture and education to share practices and innovative ideas. Artificial Intelligence was a major topic of the conference as every field has to keep up with new technologies and adapt their business models. At Mako Kids, our commitment to this evolution has been embodied by our KidsAI initiative. This project is at the forefront of developing AI solutions that are responsible, ethical, and tailored for the educational and media needs of children.

Our co-founder, Irmak Atabek, had an intervention at the thematic session on ‘Culture and Art Education through Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI)’, where she shared insights on AI’s transformative role in shaping children’s media. At Mako Kids, we think it is vital to develop artificial intelligence that not only nurtures our children in their educational journey but also ensures their well-being.

We look forward to contributing to the global discussion on culture and arts education, sharing our experiences, challenges, and achievements in harnessing AI for the betterment of education. The potential of AI to enrich this field is limitless, and we are excited to be a part of this transformative wave.
