Our Team

Co-founded in 2017 by Evren Yiğit and Irmak Atabek, Mako Kids has grown from its roots in children’s media production into a globally connected child-centered media and learning company. Today, our team brings together creatives, educators, researchers, artists, consultants, and collaborators from different parts of the world who share a common passion for creating meaningful stories and learning experiences for children with both global relevance and local sensitivity.

Evren YİGİT

Founder & CEO

Evren Yiğit is a children’s media and learning expert with nearly two decades of experience across children’s content, educational storytelling, and large-scale social impact initiatives. Guided by her vision for high-quality, child-centered content, she leads Mako Kids in creating meaningful media and learning experiences that bring together storytelling, children’s development knowledge, education, creativity, and emerging technologies.
Through her work with Mako Kids and collaborations with international organizations and partners including UNICEF, the European Union, broadcasters, and educational institutions, Evren focuses on projects that support children’s wellbeing, learning, AI literacy, ethical innovation, and a better tomorrow for children worldwide. She is also a sought-after speaker and advocate for children’s wellbeing in the digital age.
