A beautiful East African village where humans, animals, and plants live side by side in harmony.
Umoja is an eco-conscious village built around Mama Baobab, a wise old Baobab tree who is interconnected with all the trees on the continent through her roots and Papo Hapo is about an odd quartet that lives Papo Hapo, which means “right there!”
We follow the adventures, misadventures, and the everyday lives of these four friends Nia an idealist 6-year-old girl, Mbui the naughty billy goat, Kif the introverted rhino and Aswa the very talkative oxpecker and their interaction with the people and of course animals and plants of the Umoja and its neighborhoods.
