Freehand Studios and Sonara Collective hosted a special showcase event featuring the pilot episode of the highly anticipated animated children’s series, Uli & Tata’s African Nursery Rhymes. This captivating series follows the thrilling adventures of Uli and her brother Tata as they embark on a quest to uncover East Africa’s vanishing nursery rhymes.
The showcase took place at the iconic rooftop cinema, UNSEEN Nairobi, and attracted a vibrant audience from the creative industry. Notably, our esteemed partners Sol Kids Africa, and KUNGU LABS were also in attendance, further adding to the excitement and collaborative spirit of the event.
As we embark on this remarkable journey, we are actively seeking funders and co-producers who share our passion for Uli & Tata’s African Nursery Rhymes. We are committed to producing the first season of the series right here in Kenya, and we invite like-minded individuals and organizations to join us on this creative endeavor.
