Mako Kids Founder & CEO Evren Yiğit participated in the Global Dialogue on AI Governance consultations, a United Nations-led initiative bringing together governments, academia, civil society, and industry leaders to help shape the future of AI governance worldwide.

During the consultations, Evren Yiğit emphasized the importance of meaningfully including children in conversations around artificial intelligence, digital safety, and emerging technologies. Highlighting the unique developmental, emotional, and educational needs of children, she advocated for more child-centered approaches in the design and governance of AI systems.

“At Mako Kids, we believe children are not simply smaller users of technology. They experience, trust, and learn from the world differently. Designing technology with children in mind is not a niche consideration, but a responsibility,” she shared during the discussions.

The participation reflects Mako Kids’ ongoing commitment to ethical innovation, AI literacy, and creating research-informed media and learning experiences that help build a better tomorrow for children worldwide.
